Round-trip bus from San Jose, San Francisco and Walnut Creek to Heavenly, South Lake Tahoe, right on the California and Nevada line. The biggest vertical drop of any resort we go to, with Lake Tahoe below you on one side and the Nevada desert on the other.

Good to know

  • Non-skiers are covered: the gondola starts in Heavenly Village, with skating, shops and restaurants at the base.
  • On-mountain lodges include Lakeview Lodge, Tamarack Lodge, East Peak Lodge, Sky Deck and Stein's.
  • The Olympic Downhill runs 5.5 miles from top to bottom.
