Join us for a weekend of excitement, hitting the slopes by day and enjoying the best of South Lake Tahoe by night!
Kick off the winter season with our first 2-day, 1-night Tahoe Ski Trip of the year! We’re excited to launch the season with a brand-new lodging upgrade — The Coachman Hotel in South Lake Tahoe, our newly selected overnight partner for 2025.
♦The Coachman Hotel – A Major Upgrade
Located just three blocks from Heavenly Village, the Coachman puts you in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. Walk to restaurants, cafés, bars, shopping, the gondola, casinos, and more — all within minutes of your room.
Your stay includes access to the Coachman’s standout amenities:
→ Complimentary s’mores kits at the fire pit every evening
→ Outdoor hot tub is perfect after a long day on the mountain
→ Year-round heated pool for relaxation or an après-ski dip
→ Modern communal spaces including lobby bar, café, and lounge
→ Newly upgraded, stylish rooms designed for warmth and comfort
→ Quick access to the Heavenly Gondola & Village
This move from our former partner, the Beach Retreat & Lodge, is a significant enhancement — offering a more modern, cozy, and centrally located environment for an elevated overnight ski experience.
♦Trip Itinerary
Saturday – Heavenly Mountain Resort
Though weather can play a major factor, our expected time of arrival at the Resort is 8:30am, where you will spend a full day tearing up the slopes at Heavenly, known for its massive terrain, epic tree skiing, breathtaking Lake Tahoe views, and vibrant village scene. Whether you're carving cruisers, chasing powder, or exploring the terrain parks, Heavenly has it all. After the lifts all close at 4pm, we will aim to leave the resort at 4:30pm arriving at the Hotel at 4:45pm where you are free to enjoy all that the Coachman has to offer.
Sunday – Sugar Bowl Resort
Day two will start at 6:30am when your grab-and-go breakfast will be available, and we aim to leave the hotel (with all your luggage) by 7:30am. The ride to SugarBowl takes us to the Northshore at the crest of the High Sierras. The Sugar Bowl is a classic, high-alpine ski experience renowned for its deep snow, steep terrain, and authentic mountain atmosphere. Tucked atop Donner Summit, it consistently receives some of the highest snowfall totals in Tahoe, making it a favorite for powder seekers. The resort offers a great mix of terrain—long groomers, challenging steeps, wide bowls, and tree runs—appealing to both adventurous skiers and strong intermediates. With fewer crowds, historic charm, and a focus on skiing itself, Sugar Bowl delivers a pure, laid-back mountain vibe, boasting some of the best snow conditions in the region. Again, we will aim to leave and head back to the Bay Area at 4:30 pm.
Two mountains. Two experiences. One unforgettable weekend.
