Bay Area to Tahoe since 1996

Tahoe Ski Trips is a family-owned ski bus company. We started in 1996 as Bay Area Ski Bus, and the idea hasn't changed: we pick you up in the Bay Area, get you to the mountain and bring you home. Sleep on the way up, ski all day, and watch a movie on the ride home.

Day trips are $109 round trip, bus only. Every trip on sale is on the schedule.

What we run

Weekend day trips

Round trip from the Bay Area to Heavenly, Kirkwood, Northstar, Sierra-at-Tahoe, Palisades Tahoe and Sugar Bowl. $109 bus only, and you can add a lift ticket, rental or package at checkout.

Overnight trips

Two or more days on the snow with hotel nights in between, from 2-day Tahoe trips to spring skiing at Mammoth. Dates go on the schedule as they open.

The 6-Pack

Six bus-only trip credits for $569, with reserved seats toward the front of the bus. Only 30 are sold this season, and credits are good through May 1, 2027.

Day trips to fully custom multi-day trips for company teams, clubs and celebrations, with pickup at your office or any lot near your group. You choose how much we plan.

The same rhythm on every day trip.

3:45to 5:30am
Pickups around the Bay AreaSan Jose, San Francisco and Walnut Creek, plus Foster City, Pleasanton and Oakland when we run more than one bus. Each trip page lists its exact times.
On the mountainYour host gets everyone set when the bus arrives. Ski or ride all day.
4:30pm
The bus leaves the resort at 4:30pm sharpIt leaves on time, so plan to be back a few minutes early.
7:45to 9:30pm
HomeWalnut Creek first, then San Francisco, then San Jose. Movies on the way.

Good to know

Snow or shine. If the road to the scheduled resort is closed, we re-route to another resort.
Riders ages 5 and up.

Behind every trip

We contract with established charter bus companies and outfitters with strong safety records, and our team brings more than 40 years of combined experience running trips and events. We handle the routes, pickup times, hosts and the backup plan when a storm closes a road. You focus on the skiing.
